SPRING HOMEOWNER MEETING
MAY 18, 2024 MEETING REVIEW

As of the Spring Meeting on May 18, 2024, we have 73.99% of all LLA households paid in full of their yearly dues (that’s 165 of 223). Some 2024 Accomplishments (so far):

ROADS:
- LLA Contracted with R. Williams LLC to successfully pave roughly 15,000 square feet of LLA road. As budgeted, $45K was spent, basically 1/4 of LLA's total budget.
- On target to have all LLA roads paved within 10-12 years.
- Directional arrows painted on Upsala Path, as well as additional One Way signs

MANOR HOUSE:
- A/C and Ceiling Fans have been installed
- A full building Water Filter Installed (donated by Tom Ela)
- Outside property cleaned, and scheduled quarterly inside cleaning
- A successful Murder Mystery Fundraiser was had raising appox $2,500.00

BEACH:
- We doubled the amount of sand for the beach from previous years.
- The LLA beach officially opens on weekends only in JUNE (officially June 1st), and will be opened daily JULY and AUGUST through Labor Day Weekend.
- Lifeguards will be at the beach on Wednesdays through Sundays only.
- 2024 LLA Wristbands will be needed on the beach (see wristband info below)
- A separate email will be sent regarding beach rules.

LAKE:
- Aquatic Analysts have started servicing the lake.
- Blue food dye was added, which blocks photosynthesis, in turn reducing algae
- Scheduled Bi-weekly treatments, to spot kill algae and weeds.

2024 LLA WRISTBANDS:
- There are no major changes in beach rules, guest allowances, etc…
- We opted for easily identifiable wristbands to distinguish non members from members. We hope to restrict non-members from using our beach/lake/Manor House
- As with the previous beach tags, each household “paid in full” receive 5 bands (adult sized)
- Bands should be worn on beach, playground, etc.. when using facilities
- If you see people using the beach without a wristband, please ask them for it. Board members and lifeguards will be doing this as well.

LLA BOAT STICKERS:
- Goal is to identify boat & kayak owners and contact them as needed
- Every boat/kayak will need a sticker no matter if it’s stored at beach or on private property
- Distribution Plan TBD

AirB&B:
LLA is in conversation with our lawyer to learn how to best manage such rentals.

BOARD ELECTION RESULTS:
The following association members (in alphabetic order) were elected as Board Members on May 18, 2024, for a two year term: John Caggiano, Bailey Domenick, Paul Jansson, Liz Keeney, Tom LaRusso, Jane Litwinka, Dotsie Osusky, Matt Paz
