LLA 2025 Winter Homeowners Meeting • 2025 LLA OPERATING BUDGET: The budget was approved by a vote of 46-YES to 9-NO. There was a proposal to increase the legal budget for STR by $3,000.00, which was not approved. • 2025 LINDY’S LAKE ASSOCIATION DUES: The vote reflected an increase to the Lindy’s Lake Association yearly dues. This years payment of $675.00 is due by March 15, 2025. • CAPITAL RESERVE STUDY: LINDYSLAKE.COM/RESERVE_STUDY.HTM • LLA MEMBER SURVEY RESULTS: Results of the survey were discussed, which were emailed to members earlier this year. • LLA ROADS: There was a lengthy discussion on the status of our roads. A committee was formed in 2023 to address the road issues and to come up with a plan. In 2023 LLA paved roughly 11,000 square feet of roads. In 2024 LLA paved roughly 15,000 square feet, and LLA is expecting to pave another 15,000 square feet in 2025. For 2025, the roads budget was increased to $48,000.00. Roads work for 2025 will begin in April, providing the weather cooperates. R.Williams Paving will again be our roads contractor for 2025. If there is an issue with your road please email roads@lindyslake.com (please include your name, address a description of the issue with pictures). We expect all roads to be paved or repaired in 12-15 years. • LLA LAKE: Treatment of the lake will begin in May. • LLA BEACH: We expect the beach to be open for Memorial Day weekend. We plan on hiring lifeguards, including a head Lifeguard. Liz Keeney will continue to handle scheduling of Pavilion Rentals. We are looking for volunteers to help run the Memorial Day, July 4th & Labor Day parties at the beach, and other events. Contact Deb LaRusso by emailing at events@lindyslake.com if you are interested in running an event. • LLA MANOR HOUSE: We have completed many projects in 2024 using both LLA budget money and money from donations/ fundraising. The biggest project was installing a central air conditioning system with a smart thermometer. We expect and hope to complete a few smaller projects in 2025. • LLA FARMHOUSE: We will be re-assessing the rental rate for July 2025. We will start implementing yearly improvement projects. 2025’s project is installing a new water heater and other projects. • LLA MANAGEMENT: We are back to “Not for Profit” status. We filed and paid all back taxes. We are looking for a third party to perform an audit (we are looking for volunteers). We engaged with a legal consultant to collect dues that are in arrears more than 1 year and we are looking into opening a Square Account for credit cards. • LLA PLAYGROUND: We have $6,581.91 remaining in the Playground donations fund which will stay in the 2025 budget for the playground. Starting in 2024 we have a donations fund. The unused portion will carry over to the next year’s budget. The goal of this fund is to renovate / improve the Manor House. Current balance is $10,631.26 (Thanks Deb LaRusso for chairing the Donations committee). • LLA EVENTS & FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE: This committee was started in 2024. Members meet Mondays at 6:30 PM 4-6x per year.
